Place your Cactus by a window that gets plenty of sunlight, remember these are desert plants, and do not forget to rotate your Cactus.

Water your Cactus when the top of the soil is dry about 1/2 inch deep. Soak your Cactus with water, it is very important to allow the soil to drain and do not let your Cactus sit in a dish of water.  A good tip is even watering your Cactus once a week may be too much.  Your Cactus would rather be too dry than too wet. 

When you are ready to report your Cactus, plant in soil that has a high level of sand.
